Plans directs and coordinates activities of Business Development. Obtains optimum efficiency and economy of operations. Help organization remain competitive and grow according to plan by identifying, assessing and develop new business opportunities.
Responsible for pricing policy, price maintenance and pricing evaluations to ensure competitive placement in the market.
Directs contractual negotiations and assists in participation in negotiations as necessary.
Achieves optimum employee levels with last amount of overhead and material costs to annual budgetary plan.
Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and processes to meet timely deliveries and quality service.
Seek out new business opportunities for organization.
Develop, coordinate and implement marketing plans designed to maintain and increase existing business and capture new opportunities
Participate in strategic marketing and operation planning with executives, setting objectives and methods to reach them.
Direct development of proposals in response to requests for proposals.
Hire train develop and evaluate staff. Take corrective actions as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy.
Ensure compliance with Company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality,OSHA, safety and complete and on time delivery at the lowest cost.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and company standards.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS in Business or Engineering with a minimum of 15 years experience with a minimum of five years in management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Word processing, email, spreadsheets and project planning tools.
Exhibit and practice professional and courteous behavior while interacting with both internal and external customers.
Interact within a cooperative environment through beneficial behaviors, commitment to common goals, contribution to problem solving, communication of ideas and suggestions, an encouragement to other employees, and departments.
Accountable for the control and distribution of documents and/or equipment subject to export control restrictions and the security of FlightSafety materials, projects and business information regarding the methods and techniques used in the production and usage of FlightSafety products.
Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.
Able to adhere to a work schedule including prompt and regular attendance.
