Key Responsibilities

* Analyze traffic, revenue flows, and schedules for HA and competitors
* Recommend new markets and frequencies to maximize the profitability of HA’s network and other airline/cargo partner relationships

* Support Sales & Alliances and Cargo leadership to pursue/ negotiate alliance/codeshare agreements

* Develop long-term schedule and operating plans for HA, coordinating with Operations and Scheduling on the production of future schedules

* Analyze network impacts of schedule changes, interline and code-share relationships

* Provide inputs into demand forecasts for planning and revenue management purposes

* Ad-hoc, network-related analysis to support corporate initiatives
* Lead cross functional analysis of poorer performing markets
* Maintain and calibrate network planning models and systems
* Other duties as assigned by Manager

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

* Bachelor's degree, concentration in economics, quantitative discipline or related

* Five years' experience performing network planning / network analysis activities at an airline or other transportation-related company

* One year management experience
* Strong analytical skills and mathematic proficiency, to include statistics
* Mastery of analytical tools, including spreadsheet modeling, Microsoft Access or other database software, and statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS)

* Strong presentation and communication skills, particularly related to the visual display of quantitative information

* Deep understanding of airline economics and business models
* Ability to work independently in close coordination with other functional areas

Preferred Qualifications

* MBA or Master's degree in quantitative discipline preferred
