Director, Revenue Analytics

Position Summary:

This role is integral to advancing the strategic use of data across the Revenue Management & Network/Schedule Planning teams and beyond. This role leads a high-performance team responsible for RM systems,
revenue forecasting, projects, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Project manage process and systems improvements efforts throughout Revenue Management, Pricing, and Network/Schedule planning

* Own key internal relationships various groups including IT and external relationships with key technology vendors

* Direct analytical support to revenue projects and initiatives, and present findings to senior leadership

* Lead annual passenger revenue budget and ongoing passenger revenue forecast, in cooperation with Finance and Planning groups

* Enhance current revenue models by increasing data integration, automation standards, and science integration

* Serve as revenue analytics subject matter expert for the organization

* Direct the development of analysis tools and reports

* Develop future leaders for commercial and analytics teams

* Oversee the successful implementation of next generation revenue management system

* Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

* Bachelors’ degree

* 4 years of experience performing quantitative business analysis, with a background in either consulting or operations research

* Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of employee development and engagement

* Strong analytical skills and mathematic proficiency, to include advanced statistics and probability modeling, as well as linear algebra. Knowledge of computer programming
(Visual Basic, C++) desirable.
* Mastery of analytical tools, including spreadsheet modeling, Microsoft Access or other database software, statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS), and computational software
(e.g., Mathematica)
* Understanding of airline economics, business models, and pricing / RM methodologies

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment

* College degree in operations research, computer science, engineering, or other quantitative discipline

* Experience with process engineering, redesign, and documentation

* Experience working in an airline revenue management or analytical function

* Proven ability to source, aggregate and deliver data and present to various user roles

* Ability to effectively synthesize and draw conclusions from complex data and effectively present conclusions to a variety of constituents

Preferred Qualifications:

* Graduate degree in operations research, computer science, or other quantitative discipline
