JOB DESCRIPTION (POSITION SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
The Support Analyst works in support of one of the following business processes: Order Fulfillment, Planning, Sustainment, or Auditability. The selected individual will provide support to Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Business Process Support Division (BPSD) in performing a variety of task that are less complex in nature but can be numerous; i.e. transaction errors. Exercises discretion and independent judgment on assigned task. Works primarily with Microsoft office products; Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook among other software products and within an Enterprise Business System comprised of, SAP Sales and Distribution, and Trader’s Scheduler’s Workbench among other components.
RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the monitor and maintenance of systems as such as SAP Enterprise Central Component (ECC), Fuels Management Defense (FMD), Invoices Receipt Acceptance and Property Transfer (IRAPT), IS Oil Traders and Schedulers Workbench, Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO), SAP Business Objects, and shall manually generate reports, metrics and spreadsheets as directed by BPSD COR and coordinated with the cognizant BPSD Government Team Lead (GTL).
Individual must be able to add/change/delete and review transactions and resolve system-generated errors in SAP Enterprise Central Component (ECC), Fuels Management Defense (FMD), Invoices Receipt Acceptance and Property Transfer (IRAPT), IS Oil Traders and Schedulers Workbench, Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO), and SAP Business Objects. Transaction management changes are generally not complex in nature, but repetitive and numerous and are usually the result of interface issues, system design, or erroneous manual input.
Assist in the creation, maintenance, escalation, tracking and resolution to these requests for help based on BPSD COR/GTL direction. This includes various metrics associated with help tickets received via phone, email, and Service Desk Express.
Create, revise and maintain many variations of documents related to administrative and business system functions in accordance with guidance provided by the COR/GTL.
Attend meetings, participate in meetings, schedule meetings, prepare and synopsize agendas, maintain attendance lists, and/or provide minutes of discussion. Participate in the testing of additions and/or changes to systems’ functionality that affect a particular process in the BPSD as directed by the GTL.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Active clearance/Public Trust or Active CAC
Recent work on a federal contract highly desired
Minimum Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum Experience: Relevant experience may be substituted for the minimum education requirement if the candidate has demonstrated at least 4 years’ experience in supporting analysis activities that display the duties and responsibilities above.
