Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Driver/Facilities Maintenance Assistant maintains the management of grounds keeping, routine facility repairs, office cleaning, and driving AOG parts/mechanics to various Company Stations.
Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance.
Maintains and keeps all floors clean and free of debris in the halls, hangar, restrooms, and walkways.
Clean, inspect and perform routine maintenance and repairing hangar area, compressed air systems, portable equipment, doors, ramp area, and building lighting.
Ensure the maintenance and safety of sidewalks, driveways, ramp, lighting, and parking lots.
Assist in the monitoring of facility, fire extinguishing system, and other hangar procedures as required.
Ensure employees work in a safe manner, that equipment is properly maintained to operate safely, and that hazards are promptly identified and corrected.
Notify Maintenance Manager of any unsafe conditions.
Report defective equipment, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
Must be flexible with schedule and have the ability to work evenings, weekends and overtime as required.
Ensure compliance with all company rules and regulations, Standard Operating Procedures and Company policy. Contributes to a successful safety culture by following the established guidelines as outlined in the Safety Policy and other Company Manuals.
Attend monthly safety meetings.
Proactively assist team members, managers and employees as needed.
Manage special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Adaptable to a fast paced, shifting work environment; willing to remain flexible to accommodate changing business conditions, work requirements and scheduling needs.
Detail Oriented – Attention to detail, ability to focus on the project or task at hand and consistently deliver error free results.
Job Requirements Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree GED Knowledge.
Skills and Abilities:
Knowledgeable and experienced in operating a Company trucks, forklift, tugs, floor cleaners, scissor lifts, and etc.
Ability to speak, write and read in the English language i.e. digital displays and written documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Must be willing and able to work in various weather conditions,
Valid Driver's License and safe driving record.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background clearance check.
Must be able to obtain Airport SIDA badge through the TSA background Check.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite Programs including Word, Excel and Outlook and Company Computerized Tracking Systems (TRAX)
