Our site in Windsor Locks, CT is looking for a part-time intern to support Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) activities focused on Industrial Hygiene, Job Hazard Analysis and various other EH&S projects. The selected candidate will assist Windsor Locks EH&S Department with 2017 projects and day to day EH&S activities.
These activities include, but are not limited to:
--Qualitative and Quantitative Exposure Assessments
--Job Hazard Analysis
--Noise Exposure Assessments
Qualifications CANDIDATES MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN COURSEWORK**
* Pursuing a degree directly related to UTC Aerospace Systems' core business
* 3.0 minimum GPA
* Completion of 30 credit hours
Desire a student that is able to support a part time weekly schedule (~16 hours) during the school year.
Strong knowledge in the use of Windows based programs, Excel, Power Point, Word, Access
Enjoy working on a team and meeting new people.
Education Candidate must be pursuing BA/BS degree. Educational background should be based in the safety sciences arena. Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial hygiene preferred Provide examples of class projects or other activities with the EH&S focus.
