KBRwyle is seeking an electrical engineer to support research, development, and analysis of advanced semiconductor devices and integrated circuits. The job duties focus on the DC/RF characterization of semiconductor devices and integrated circuits (ICs), the integration of relevant laboratory test systems, and the verification of their measurement accuracy.
Education/Experience: A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology is required along with two (2) years of applicable experience in compound semiconductor device/circuit electrical characterization. Experience in handling and testing millimeter-wave transistors/MMICs and with on-wafer testing is desired. Experience with LabVIEW and/or VEE for test automation and data acquisition is also desired. General aptitude and experience with coax/waveguide-fixtured, as well as on-wafer, characterization of semiconductor device and circuit wafers is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The candidate must have a working knowledge of microwave components and solid-state transistors, and hands-on experience with dc/RF tools and tests required for their evaluation. The candidate must be able to develop/execute relevant test plans and collect/analyze the measured dc/RF data.
