Rate: $26.14/HR
3+ month contract
2nd Shift

**MUST be able to obtain a SECRET clearance**

Description
Perform avionics and electrical installs on H-60 Blackhawk helicopters. Troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft electrical and avionics systems of moderate difficulty at the organizational or depot maintenance level. Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, power tools, and applicable test equipment. Fabricate harness and electrical assemblies. Reads and interprets manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to accomplish installs. Work under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy.

Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory:
Experience in repairing, replacing, and rebuilding electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, power tools, and applicable test equipment. Experience in utilizing electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes. Must be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings and technical manuals. Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift or travel as required by program schedule and customer requirements

Desired:
-Minimum 3 years experience installing and testing of aircraft electrical / avionics systems.
-Successful completion of a military or civilian equivalent electrical / avionics training course.
-Must be proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, engineering drawings and technical manuals / technical orders.
- Aircraft Maintenance Experience.
- Documented Military/DOD Service School or Civilian/FAA equivalent training desired.
