Role Summary:
The Employee HR Management Specialist will provide strategic and operational employee relations leadership to a 360 person shop that specializes in the manufacture of electrical components. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving organizational change and cultural development working in coordination with site leadership.

Essential Responsibilities:

As an Employee HR Management Specialist, you'll be responsible for :

* Providing Human Resources (HR) support to a specified client group
* Conducting investigations
into alleged violations of code of conduct and ethics program
* Handling employee
relations issues at all levels, by counseling employees, mediating, and
resolving disputes between employees; coordinating
investigations of complaints, and grievances
* Executing HR programs, aligning HR strategies with business strategies,
streamlining and standardizing HR policies, practices and processes
* Leading efforts supporting hourly employee recruiting
* Assisting in various
Oracle and data management projects including; headcount tracking and analysis
of staffing activities in support of Affirmative Action Plans
* Actively engaging in Strategic Workforce Planning strategy
* Addressing employee pay
and benefit questions
* Participate in
GE-wide, business, and local team driving Human Resource (HR) initiatives
* Supporting key Human
Resources processes and e-HR tools
* Assisting in conducting
interviews, accelerating cycle time, and driving recruiting efforts
* Enabling EEO and driving diversity initiatives
* Producing reports on key HR metrics and lead onsite orientation
and facilitate assimilation of new employees working with line manager

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Human Resources or Employee Relations position)

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :

* This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment
