General responsibilities of the position: In a manufacturing environment at the cutting edge of technology, candidates will be required to:
• Read and understand various complex drawings, sketches, manufacturing processes, specifications and other written instructions
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Sort the parts according to specifications, sentencing and handling
• Clean, scour, polish, dry and treat the parts with different chemical, mechanical, manual or other processes
• Handle baskets with a winch, arranging them in the appropriate tanks in accordance with part alloy materials and procedures
• Adjust and operate robotic equipment Select the right programs to strip or clean the various coatings used on the parts Potentially make changes to certain parameters such as pressure, distance, and robot movements and/or positioning
• Visually check the general condition of the parts, check certain dimensions on the treated surfaces using basic measuring instruments
• Update various parameter logs in order to establish efficient operations using statistical process control
• Prepare and/or help prepare chemical solutions, take samples and drain tanks as required
• Potentially operate several pieces of equipment simultaneously and in close proximity

Specific responsibilities of position: Qualifications required: • Degree: Vocational diploma (DEP) in aeronautics, chemical procedures or any other related training
• 1 to 2 years' experience working in an industrial environment
• Experience in an industrial environment
• Interpersonal skills: Team player and positive attitude
• Autonomy and rigour
• Evidence of initiative-taking
• Functional spoken and written English and French
• Active participation in improvement projects within the department
• SAP program knowledge an asset
