  • Serve as functional expert on Desktop/Mobility Engineering. Assist in the facilitation/coordination of decision making and issue resolution in regards to Desktop/Mobility Engineering solution and process implementation.
  • Development of Desktop/Mobility policies, processes and procedures. Assist in the development of enterprise level best practices for utilizing Desktop Mobility Engineering by involving key business units, IT and other named entities.
  • Assist in the gathering and managing of Desktop/Mobility requirements. Work with Information Technology teams and business units to coordinate Desktop/Mobility technology & Desktop/Mobility Engineering process implementations.
  • Work with the necessary application, IT operations & infrastructure teams to identify, recommend and implement continuous improvement within all Desktop/Mobility Engineering processes.
  • Assist in the recommendation of tools to manage, monitor and report on Desktop/Mobility performance and compliance. Assist in the development of the necessary processes to integrate the tools into the Deskside Support, IT Operations and/or Infrastructure environments. 
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and Problem diagnosis to IT Operations on Desktop/Mobility technologies.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of communication plans for end users of implemented Desktop/Mobility Engineering processes to provide input on enhancements, new versions, problems, issues, etc.  Maintain an awareness of the use & benefits of Desktop/Mobility Engineering. 
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training options, best practices and support procedures for implemented Desktop/Mobility technologies.
  • Ensure proper follow-through on all directives, bulletins and schedules from the corporate office and Desktop Engineering Program Manager. Maintain a good flow of communication with business entity management and within the Corporation.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, relevant certifications, and professional training programs
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Windows client management in an Active Directory environment
  • Experience in client end applications, client hardware including mobile devices, peripherals, and Windows troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Must have technical knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft Office suite, Windows OS management, Mobile device management
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking technologies and fundamentals 
  • Experience in managing alternate client operating systems, such as Mac OS, IOS, and Android.
  • Experience in enterprise client device management. 
  • Professional training or certifications related to Desktop/Mobility Engineering and/or Client management administration
  • Experience in the Airline Industry 
  • Ability to travel within the United States and Internationally
