Job Description :

The Engineering Technician III will work with Engineering and perform testing and troubleshooting of dB Control newer design modules.

Responsibilities:

•Must perform high level testing of Modules that are prototype designs.

•Willing to be cross-trained for backup to routine testing of all transformers, coils, inductors, low voltage and high voltage power supplies, grid supplies, and (pre and post potted) subassemblies.

•Test and write procedures for subassemblies for the dB Control Engineering Department with little or no supervision.

Job Requirements :

Required Experience:

•Repair and test experience with High Voltage Power Supplies (HVPS).

•Experience writing and following high level procedures for the major HVPS subassemblies.

•Experience troubleshooting and testing HVPS major subassemblies.

•Has had previous experience working with Digital Multimeter, LCR Meter, Mega Ohm Meter, Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, Capacitance Meter, Low and High Voltage Power Supplies, Hi-Potter, Altitude Chambers, Burn-in stations, and knowledge of all tools used in electronics - power tools included.

Qualifications:

•AA Degree in Electronics plus 10 years as an Electronics Repair Technician or minimum of 15 years working with High Voltage Power Supplies in electronics.

•Complete ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, great component-level troubleshooting skills, knowledge of Switching Power Supplies and High Voltage Circuits.

•Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Required experience:

* 10 years as an Electronics Repair Technician or minimum of 15 years working with High Voltage Power: 1 year
