This position will support both the KC-46 and the P-8 programs. The KC-46 Pegasus is a widebody, multirole tanker that can refuel all U.S., allied and coalition military aircraft compatible with international aerial refueling procedures. Boeing designed the KC-46 to carry passengers, cargo and patients. The P-8A Poseidon is a derivative of the Next-Generation 737-800 designed for long-range anti-submarine warfare; anti-surface warfare; and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions.

The ideal candidate will work with engineering, contracts, finance and program management to build current, accurate and complete proposals on schedule. They present to leadership to obtain approval to submit. After submittal they will work with contracts and the customer through fact finding and during negotiations. Finally, once the contract is awarded they will work with finance to help baseline the budget for the proposed work.

Responsibilities:

*

Work on BGS-G (Boeing Global Services – Government) C-40A and P-8 Program proposals across all the proposal lifecycles of development, fact finding and negotiation; valued between $10M & ~$1B

*

Work on proposals with USG (United States Government)/FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) requirements and International FMS (Foreign Military Sales) /DCS (Direct Commercial Sale) requirements

*

Build UCA (Undefinitized Contract Action), ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude), firm, and debit/credit proposal types

*

Build TINA (Truth In Negotiations Act) compliant Cost Volumes

*

Develop labor/material estimates utilizing previous history (adjusted where applicable)

*

Participates in cross-functional improvement projects/lean initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required qualifications:

* 1+ year in Microsoft Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, linking worksheets)

* 1+ year working with cross-functional teams

* 1+ year working with cross-functional teams

Preferred qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
