Job Description
  • The F-15 Integration team is seeking to add a technical lead engineer to develop, document and promote plans for future F-15 Mission Systems work.


  • This engineer will use their leadership abilities to work with USAF and Boeing stakeholders to understand and shape customer requirements and to turn those into concrete programs which Boeing can execute. 
  • The candidate is required to have knowledge of fighter aircraft systems and operations through experience with development programs and program execution. 
  • The candidate must have a track record of leading development activities and driving results. 
  • Extensive interaction with USAF aircrews and Program Office personnel as well as Boeing leadership and teams will be required, so it is desired that this candidate have experience with technical writing and customer interaction. 
  • Occasional travel to USAF sites and Boeing offices will be required.
  • Applicants must include their Security Clearance Level and Investigation Date clearly on their resume.

Basic Qualifications (Requirements):
  • Must have an active (or are you able to obtain) a U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Must be a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.  § 120.15?  “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Assets (Preferred):
  • Preferred candidate will have avionics design, test and integration experience.
  • Experience creating systems architectures/design is a plus.
  • Technical Writing Experience is also a plus.
Typical Education / Experience:
Level 4:
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
