Job Description

The F-22 program is seeking a level 2 Software Engineer for the Operational Flight Program (OFP) Build team for the F-22 Agile Integration Lab (AIL) and Flying Test Bed (FTB) in St Louis, Missouri. Eligible candidates for this position will be responsible for the build and encryption process of all F-22 software products. This process includes receiving software deliveries, performing suitability checks of delivered products, generating test builds as well as following our formal OFP build process. Candidates should be familiar with software configuration management, troubleshooting product and software build anomalies, and maintaining tools/scripts. Must be effective at working on a diverse team that partners Boeing with Lockheed Martin and the USAF.

Qualifications 

Degree in engineering classification required: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

 

This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

 

Familiarity with Linux operating systems and C++ software development.

1+ Experience with Operational Flight Program (OFP) Software preferred.
1+ Experience with software configuration control and release processes preferred.
1+ Experience with Agile software development concepts preferred.
Familiarity with Encryption hardware preferred.
