The Pratt & Whitney Engine Systems F135 Program Management team has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Depot Activation Manager to manage the cost/schedule performance in the development of F135 Repair Depots for F135 controls components for both domestic and international customers.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing contract requirements, work scope, communication with the customers, suppliers and interfacing with the UTAS aftermarket and ground support equipment groups. You will also have the responsibility as a Cost Account Manager (CAM), managing cost and schedule performance and reporting monthly to the customer on performance, variances and identifying any schedule or cost risks and opportunities.
The selected candidate will team with the existing F135 Program/Aftermarket/Engineering teams along with Depot and Field site representatives to provide the end customer with exceptional support in operating, maintaining and sustaining the F135 fleet. This includes working closely with our category 1 supplier’s in the forecasting and acquisition of repair spare parts, development of component repair procedures, development of field Service Limits, LRU repairs, Field investigations, and operational capability of the repair depot.
The F135 fleet currently has a fleet of 230 F35 aircraft in the field, with the total fleet projected to be over 3500 aircraft. The F35 aircraft will be operated by all US military forces and by eight partner countries and several foreign military customers.
Qualification: •Project management experience; must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects with competing priorities
•Candidate should have strong organization and communication skills
•A consistent positive attitude with a strong teamwork competency that allows the candidate to quickly build positive relationships within our team and our customer
•Proficiency with MS Office Applications (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word)
Education: BA/BS degree w/6-10+ years’ experience
MA/MS degree w/4-7+ years’ experience
