Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in related curriculum, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Certified by the American Society for Industrial Security as a Protection Professional, CPP, or its equivalent. 10 years of Mgmt experience including 5 years of Facilities planning, engineering, and maintenance experience and 5 years of EHS and Security experience. Directs and coordinates all activities and personnel of Facilities, Environmental, Health & Safety, Security, Tool Control, Line Service and Ground Support to ensure regulatory compliance, cost effective fulfillment of project, quality, and schedule while achieving customer satisfaction. Maintains effective relationships and collaborates with other Departments and sites on all Equipment, Environmental Compliance, Capital Acquisition, and Security and loss prevention matters; ensures two-way information exchange, both within and outside departments and sites, with respect to quality and regulatory variances, problems, and schedule deviations. Develops and administers budgets; monitors and controls cost/expenses and other resources to attain site and performance goals. Determines staffing needs, hires new employees, trains in methods and procedures, and makes other personnel decisions as needed, including outsourcing.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions: 1. In conjunction with the Directors of Human Resources, Facilities, Asset and People Protection, Completion Operations, Material and Service Center Operations and the site Vice President and General Manager, determines and establishes goals and objectives. 2. Lead the ISO 14001 certification and OHSAS 18001 compliance programs to ensure site compliance. Report on compliance and status as required. 3. Research and identify local and state environmental legislative and/or regulatory developments that may impact the operation and work in consort with corporate/site leaders to ensure resolution. 4. Prepares and Controls Expense and Capital budgets as allocated. Has signature authority for purchases as designated by policy. 5. Communicates with Management and Governmental agencies to assure regulatory compliance and follows up on applicable action items. 6. Maintains 24-hour a day 7-day per week contact with Security personnel. 7. Evaluate and ensure proper implementation of safety and loss control activities. 8. Develop, budget and administer high cost capital acquisitions and improvements. 9. Maintain tool control accuracy in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements. 10. Support GSE maintenance and control in conjunction with line service activity supporting the site operations.
Additional Functions: 1. Advises Senior Management on Facilities, Environmental, Health & Safety, Security, and Loss Prevention issues between Corporate and sites, as required. 2. Performs other incidental duties as required.
Other Requirements: 1. Strong knowledge of management principles and concepts including work standards and methods, facilities planning, economic analysis, production flow, material handling, project management, loss prevention, physical security, and environmental health and safety.
