Job Description

Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is looking to hire a Fleet Maintenance Co-Op to work at our Headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. This paid Co-Op will start in August and end in October, with an optional extension.

EJM offers a flexible schedule conducive to a students' schedule with encouraged participation in company event throughout the year. A complete application and resume must be submitted in order to be considered.

Position Summary:

  • Assist in off-loading and loading of records on aircraft.
  • Assist in organizing, copying, scanning and filing of pilot and aircraft records.
  • Assist in aircraft conformity research and inputting information into internal tracking database.
  • Audit/research compliance history and verify third-party tracking systems are current and matched with internal tracking database.
  • Review aircraft, engine and APU logbooks for currency and place received original entries into logbooks.
  • Contact mechanics/repair stations for late/missing originals.
  • Contact manufactures for warranty information.
  • Assist Managers/Planners in planning/building maintenance work scopes.
  • Assist Return-to-Service Department by contacting vendors for parts availability and pricing.
  • Audit/verify Return-to-Service paperwork has been scanned into internal tracking database.
  • Perform misc. tasks, such as mailing/shipping, shopping for/stocking of aircraft supplies, data entry, etc. as required by Department.
  • Other assignments as given by Hiring Manager.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Co-ops/interns should work in an area related to their field of study and a successful co-op/intern assignment should benefit both the student and EJM.
  • Be enrolled in their upper level courses and preferably matriculated into their major prior to working for EJM. When attending a technical college, this would be their final year of the program or the junior/senior year of a four-year university. Students in a graduate program may participate at any time.
