OneSky is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join our In-Flight Experience team as a Flight Attendant Trainer.  The Flight Attendant Trainer possesses the appropriate knowledge, experience, training, and demonstrated ability to instruct Flight Attendants and Cabin Servers in curriculum segments other than flight curriculum segments (such as service, catering, and presentation); may certify the satisfactory completion of ground training curriculum segments; and, if specifically selected and qualified by the Company, may also conduct competency checks for Flight Attendants and Cabin Servers. 

  • Create, implement and revise training curriculums according to company policies and FARs
  • Train for all tasks and responsibilities required to perform the duties of a Flight Attendant in accordance with safe practices, the Company’s policy and good judgment
  • Conduct training activities in a manner that will optimize effectiveness and minimize loss consistent with the goals, objectives, and policies of the Company
  • Collaborate with Scheduling to ensure completion of recurrent, transition, requalification, and Operating Experience training with little impact on the operation. 
  • Coordinate with In-Flight Manager, Human Resources, Flight Operations, Scheduling, Long-term A/C Planning, Travel, Sales and Marketing, Owner Services and other out sourced vendors in relation to schedules and curriculum
  • Provide support to each brands’ Flight Attendants that need additional training or assistance
  • Monitor training to ensure adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations and each brands’ Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure proper documentation of training records
  • Familiarize Flight Attendants with check ride and ramp check procedures
  • Strive to meet or exceed the requirements of both internal and external customers at all times
  • Present a pleasant, personable, and professional posture, which will enhance mutual respect and will promote teamwork
  • Perform other duties as requested
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 5 years of experience in FAR Part 135 operations; 2-4 years of customer service experience, preferable in high end service environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CANPASS and Passport are required
  • Minimum one year active line experience and instructor experience desired
  • Previous corporate aviation experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations, Park 91k and 135 desired
  • Previous experience with high end dining/sommelier/catering/serving would be beneficial
  • Candidate should work well in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the business
  • Ability to complete assignments while working in a flexible schedule
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess a professional and positive attitude
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a strong attention to detail
  • Physical demands with activity or condition existing a considerable to moderate amount of time include typing/keyboarding using a computer (i.e., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) walking, standing, climbing stairs/ladders/scaffolding, crouching, reaching, grasping, carrying, operation of motorized vehicle, standing, balancing
This position will require successful candidate to travel approximately 50% of the time.
