Flight Control Manager

Department:      SOC

Reports To:         Manager SOC

Basic Function:  Coordinates activities of System Operations Center (SOC)

  1. Qualifications:  
    1. Ability to work independently and organize workload, self-motivated.
    2. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    3. Must be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities to meet customer needs.
    4. Ability to deal with several subjects simultaneously.
    5. Able to actively promote and personally observe safety and security procedures, and uses equipment and materials properly.
    6. Working knowledge of PCs.
  2. Responsibilities:
    1. Oversees communication and coordinates activity between CRC, crew schedulers, MX Controllers and dispatchers during daily operations.
    2. Coordinate irregular flight operations; create operational plans for weather and maintenance events.
    3. Monitor flight and/or crew schedule in assigned operational areas.
    4. Schedule and coordinate charter operations.
    5. Work partnership contracts with other carriers.
    6. Providing notifications of operational changes system wide.
    7. Ability to do shift work inside a 24-hour operation.
    8. Special projects as assigned by management.
