The principle purposes of the Flight Coordinator position is to brief the crewmembers, be crew advocates, flight follow, and aid in keeping the Company Contract compliant with the Pilot and Flight Attendant Collective Bargaining Agreements. The Flight Coordinator is also responsible for gathering and disseminating information to other departments directly involved in the day-to day operations of the Company.

  • Advocate on behalf of NetJets Aviation Crewmembers during day-to-day operations by providing consistent communication as well as being available to resolve crewmember issues while on tour. Take part in logistical decision making processes to allow for crewmembers to focus on their specific responsibilities at hand. Assure seamless transition between shifts in order to provide a high level of service to each crewmember.
  • Maintain a firm understanding of Collective Bargaining Agreements between NetJets and both the Pilot and Flight Attendant Groups assuring consistent application and compliance.
  • Responsible for briefing crewmembers both verbally and electronically on all aspects of each trip and duty day.
  • Flight Following: verify crewmembers and aircraft location; researches, documents, and updates timely trip information to the Company.
  • Crewmember Logistical Resolution: communicates and coordinates crewmember requests, arranges and updates crewmember operational issues (e.g. FBO after-hours arrangements, hangar space for NetJets aircraft, etc.), facilitates and communicates crewmember transportation and hotel arrangements, records and manages crewmember flight and duty times.
  • Manages Intellijet II Crew Communication Center.
  • Actively maintains Case Management Documentation.

Required Qualifications:
Education level: High School Diploma 
Course of Study/Major: General Studies 
Work Experience: 0-2 years

  • Able to make decisions that do not compromise safety while understanding the internal and external customer needs
  • Demonstrated ability to collect information, analyze data, define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in a timely manner.
  • Must have strong time management skills including the ability to set changing priorities and the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change in a dynamic environment.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be persistent with following-through on any job related function or task.
  • Must have the ability to look to the future while remaining focused on current situations
  • Proficient in Microsoft products including Microsoft Office and Outlook applications.

Desirable Qualifications:
Education level: Bachelor's Degree 
Course of Study/Major: Business, Aviation Related Field of Study, Communications, or Liberal Arts 
Work Experience: 2-4 years

  • Demonstrated the ability to communicate to all levels of employees including management up to and including executive level as well as NetJets Owners and Guests.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic weather information.
  • Follow through with the appropriate related departments.
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend changes to management for cost savings initiatives.
  • Experience with NetJets specific software such as Intellijet II or similar software applications.
  • Experience with a Labor Union related environment, NetJets Collective Bargaining Agreements, and related documents and manuals.
