The NAVAIR METCAL FMS Project Team is directlyresponsible for executing two NAVAIR METCAL FMS cases with Kuwait andMalaysia. The FMS Financial Administrator position, located at PatuxentRiver, MD in the NAVAIR METCAL Program Office, is to provide comprehensivesupport to the NAVAIR METCAL FMS Project Team consistent with all SecurityCooperation, NAVAIR METCAL, and United States law, policy, andprocedures. This position focuses on the FMS financial, case developmentand closure, and documentation aspects of the NAVAIR METCAL FMS cases. The position will be in constant communication with the FMS Case Manager, BFM,NAVSUP WSS, and AIR 1.4 personnel in the execution of the position.

The successful candidate will perform non-routine financial, administrative,and analytical tasks in one or more business support functions within theorganization, including contracts, finance, logistics, property management,and/or purchasing. May perform tasks relative to the control of company and/orgovernment property assigned to the organization. May perform facilitiesplanning activities, including coordinating the storage and movement offurniture, systems, and equipment. May maintain financial databases, analyzedata, and develop reports. May provide guidance and work leadership toless-experienced administrative staff. Participates in special projects asrequired.

Education: The selected candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and at least two(2) years of related administrative, financial, and analytical experience.Degree substitution allowable commensurate with years of experience in tradefor years of education.

Experience/Knowledge, Skills andAbilities: The preferred candidate willhave proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite as well as experience with FMSfinancial practices. This position will be heavily financial and will likelyrequire DSAMS (green book) training. Strong DoD financial background ispreferred. Experience with NavAir Foreign Military Sales is desired.Experience with DoD Financial systems (ERP, SAP, SIGMA) and/or MILSTRIPSs,SCIP, reconciliation all highly desirable.
