Job Title: GSE Mechanic About The Job: The position’s primary focus will preventative maintenance inspections (PMI) and repairs on aircraft ground support equipment, to include fuel trucks, deice trucks, aircraft tugs, pickup trucks and passenger vehicles, and non-automotive rolling stock (tow bars, aircraft jacks, etc). Responsibilities: The GSE Mechanic is responsible for maintenance and repairs to keep aircraft ground support equipment working safely and efficiently. • Complete preventive maintenance such as: Engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing and replacing filters • Maintain vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints, conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, replacing parts and components, and repairing body damage. • Maintain vehicle records and complete required paperwork Qualifications: • Must be 18 years old • High School Diploma or equivalent • Basic computer skills • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen • Must be willing to work any shift in a 7 day operation, including nights, weekends and holidays • Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position.
