The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking an entry-level Wire Design Engineer (Level 1) to join the H-47 Chinook Program located in Ridley Park, PA.
Duties as an engineer will include (but are not limited to):
The Boeing Plant in Ridley Park, PA, is home to the H-47 Chinook Helicopter and the V-22 Osprey Tiltrotor. These aircraft are designed, tested, and manufactured at the site. In addition, the Ridley Park site hosts an Enterprise Support group which provides design and analysis of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems for Boeing Commercial Aircraft and Military Derivatives. Boeing employs approximately 5,000 people at the site, more than 250 of them are Electrical Engineers. The plant is situated along the Delaware River approximately 10 miles southwest of Philadelphia, and 2 miles from the international airport.
Basic Qualifications (Required):
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
Typical Education / Experience:
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
This position is based in Ridley Park, PA and does not offer relocation assistance. Applicants must reside in area or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
