Ameriflight, the nation's largest Part 135 airline is seeking Captains to help us provide unparalleled service and value for our customers, with the highest dedication to safety, innovation and teamwork.

Position:

Home Based Captain

* Home Based Captains may be domiciled in any city (within the contiguous U.S.) that does not have an Ameriflight base, but is within one hour of an airport served by at least 2 air carriers with daily service

* Home Based Captains may be assigned up to 4 weeks in a 7 week period, typically 2 weeks on-1 week off-2 weeks on-2 weeks off on an ongoing 7 week rotation

* Flights vary by base and equipment but generally operate Monday-Friday departing the base in the morning and returning in the evening, with a hotel provided at the outstation

* Home Based Captains are flown to / from assignment on paid ticket

* Home Based Captains are provided with hotel and $35 per day per diem while on assignment

Preferred Experience:

* 3,000 hours Total Time, 1,000 hours PIC, 500 hours Multi, 200 hours instrument, 200 hours Turbine

* Previous FAR 121 or 135 experience required for type rated equipment

Minimum Requirements – FAR 135.243(c):

* Must have 1,200 TT, 500 hours cross-country (defined at point to point), 75 hours instrument (50 must be in an aircraft), 100 hours at night

* Commercial Pilot License with Instrument rating, high performance and complex endorsements

* English Proficient

* First Class or Second Class Medical

* FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit

* Current Passport

* Eligible to work in the U.S., and travel unrestricted in and out of the U.S.

* Valid driver’s license

* Must operate aircraft in a safe and efficient manner
