This position is an entry level HR management role which acts as a liaison for the HR Directors and the administrative HR functions supporting the branches.

Act as a primary liaison for management on first level aspects of employee life cycle which includes recruitment, promotions, transfers, terminations etc. Ensures continuity of process and client communication.

Provide non union personnel information reporting for HR Planning & Implementation, and assigned Branches, as required:

To assist management in their human resources decisions

Obtain and compile and maintain HR related reports and databases

Provide HR transactional services:

Advise departments of PVA/Estaff process and assist with ensuring adherence

Provide completed job descriptions and other applicable information to translation services for processing, to compensation for assessment if required and then to Hewitt for posting. Ensure all necessary authorizations have been obtained.

Liaise with compensation to secure basic salary information, process related transactions

Process Employee Movement Templates

Provide HR related operational /administrative services:

Follow up on staff requisitions status and action once approvals obtained.

Support management in updating job descriptions

Processes, reconciles and Monitors HR Planning & Implementation expenditures carefully and ensures costs are within approved limits. (For example Grad Hire, DBM, Eagle’s Flight invoices, expense claims etc.)

Manage and maintain all aspect of CT # administration

Responsible for course registration and logistic coordination for Management Training in YUL

Assist with resume screening and interview process


* BA in Human Resources/Industrial Relations or Certificate in HR/IR preferred
* 1-3 years HR experience and/or equivalent business experience
* Strong Organizational skills
* Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
* Strong computer skills – Master of Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Excellent command of English and French language – written and spoken
* Good working knowledge and skill gained through specific experience in one or more HR disciplines (Recruiting, Benefits etc)
