Industrial Security Specialist (ISS) will support industrial security activities for the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program in Huntsville Alabama. The ISS will support National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) activities for this program as needed. The ISS is responsible for executing Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements. Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective action. Assist with Government Security Investigations on personnel, processes and situations to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.

The ISS will assist with classified meeting support to include logistics, visits, Business Partner/Program liaison and level setting. The ISS will assist with classified document control for incoming and outgoing classified material and courier briefings, and other duties as needed.

The ISS will administer the Security Awareness Training & Education (SATE) Program for collateral programs to ensure security awareness efforts are in place and SATE is appropriately tracked each month. The ISS will develop and conduct security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information.

The ISS will be responsible for the oversight of over 20 subcontractor activities around the continental United States and ensure contract security classification specifications are up to date, accurate and relay all pertinent security requirements to subcontractors.

The ISS will interface with and advise government customers, Boeing senior management and executive staff. Additionally the ISS may support enterprise level activities, leading and supporting teams that create security relevant products for use by all of Boeing Security & Fire Protection.

Qualifications

Basic Required Qualifications:

* More than 3 years of in depth knowledge and experience of NISPOM and supporting SCI and SAP

* Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

* This position requires an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. ( A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Preferred Qualification:

* Excellent organizational and customer service skills.

Typical education and experience:

Bachelor's degree and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
