Services (T&PS) seeks an innovation development strategy specialist to lead
and create strategies that drive innovation across the T&PS product and
services portfolio. The candidate will collaborate closely with business leaders
and product management to identify, define, prioritize and execute a portfolio
of innovation projects aligned to product line strategy, objectives,
requirements, and commitments. This includes enhancements to in-production
products, development and incubation of new concepts, as well as research,
development and insertion of new technologies. In addition, the innovation
strategy specialist will educate business stakeholders and product teams on the
possibilities and value of leveraging new capabilities.

The ideal
candidate will have technology strategy and market expertise across airline
operations and competitor offerings. The candidate must be able to think
creatively to identify T&PS value propositions for airline customers and
Boeing stakeholders, perform market assessments based on customer value, and
demonstrate leadership ability to recommend go-to-market approaches with new and
existing business models.

Responsibilities:
• Team with Product
Management to identify opportunities to increase revenue, productivity, and
customer satisfaction
• Propose and evaluate new business models, market
segments, and business partnership/teaming opportunities
• Conduct complex
business case analyses of new growth opportunities that integrates across
multiple internal stakeholders in order to find solutions that maximize overall
benefit for Boeing
• Conduct make / buy analysis
• Define business case
to convert technologies developed in research space to practice
• Integrate
with portfolio management team and maintain a prioritized list of strategic
growth initiatives and underlying innovation that enables these initiatives

• Interface with BGS Strategy and Business Development
• Drive
innovation by staying apprised of new technologies and raise awareness across
the organization

Qualifications

.

Bachelor's degree required.
Typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with
typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years'
related work experience. A technical degree is preferred and defined as any four
year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology
field of study

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree
• Previous experience leading and developing strategy and
business cases supporting technology efforts
• Experience operating across
organizational boundaries
• Prior history developing consensus among
disparate stakeholders with different objectives and goals
• Plan, coordinate
and implement concurrent projects of varying type and size
• Previous
experience relationship building and engagement with leadership

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working in Aviation Services
• Masters degree

This
position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US
Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US
Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
