Ideal candidate will have strong organizational, interpersonal oral and written skills. Must be able to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision. Candidates must be able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and days off. Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
License: Not all training programs require the instructor to hold a commercial pilot license, however having one would be ideal.
Experience: Knowledge and experience on large aircraft systems and airline flight operations is preferred. A candidate with previous line experience as a flight crew-member for Envoy is desired. Previous training experience and personal computer experience is a plus.
Citizenship: Must possess the legal right to work in the United States.
Employment Requirements: Federal law requires Envoy to determine an applicant's history of Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and/or alcohol violation(s) or refusal(s) to test before hiring him/her into a safety-sensitive position. This position may be subject to DOT testing. If applicable to the position, a candidate must fulfill a fingerprint-based criminal background check to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA). Candidates must also be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US customs security badges, in addition to clearing other airport related requirements, if applicable.
