Job Description:

  • Applies and checks instrumentation, builds assemblies, carries out tests, and related technical tasks according to blueprints, powerpoints, test plans, or other definition.
  • Applies knowledge and ability to use hand tools and operate test equipment such as DVMs (Digital Volt Meters), leak checking equipment, calipers, etc. according to established procedures.
  • Reads and understands basic wiring diagrams.
  • Submits purchase requests for parts and/or supplies as needed.
  • Maintains equipment as required for accuracy and longevity.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe work area at all times.
  • Maintains accurate records for tasks completed and issues confronted on a per job, per shift basis.
  • Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations, and follows industry standards regarding safety policies and procedures.
  • Travels to customer locations to assist in instrumentation tasks as needed, which will include 50-75% travel each calendar year. NEED PASSPORT
  • Maintains a professional attitude and appearance to enhance the company’s image with customers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required
  • Instrumentation application knowledge
  • 5 years experience on engine applying and troubleshooting sensors
  • Sensor knowledge to include – Pressure, Thermocouple, Strain gage and Accelerometer
  • Ability to read electrical schematics/blueprints
  • Oral and Written Communication of the English language
  • Technical Communication
  • Time Management
  • Organization
  • Reading skills
  • Physical dexterity skills
  • Manual dexterity skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • MET/EET certifications
  • A&P Mechanic HIGHLY DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
  • Hands on experience with aerospace, mechanical, and electrical engineering
  • Rake and probe assembly knowledge
  • Experience with resistance welder
  • Experience with laser welder
  • Strain gage application experience
