POSITION SUMMARY
Are you looking for a chance to travel the world aboard the world’s most luxurious aircraft? Flexjet is looking for maintenance technicians who are passionate about service and attention to detail. Interested candidates will work as part of the Red Label team when needed to deliver an exceptional in flight experience ranging from maintaining the aircraft as an A & P Technician to tending to the passengers on board as a Cabin Server.

This position will oversee performance of aircraft maintenance services for the Ultra Long Range Aircraft Program when overseas as well as work on rotation with the plane in a Cabin Server capacity. The successful candidate will ensure cost-effective operations are being performed as well as adhere to FAA and Company approved methods and procedures. Troubleshoot repairs, inspect, and perform maintenance on Flexjet aircraft in accordance with applicable technical data and FAA regulations. Finally, this position will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of safety and service to all of our passengers. The International Maintenance Technician will work with their current Aircraft Manager and the Director of Inflight Experience as needed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all maintenance performed on aircraft and components meet General Maintenance Manual, FAA regulations and quality standards
  • Communicate with Ultra Long Range program management regarding any maintenance issues that may impact their flight schedule and reliability requirements
  • Ability to work with internal and external vendors to resolve complex aircraft issues
  • Resolve aircraft discrepancies through effective communication with Maintenance Control, vendors, customer representatives and other departments as necessary
  • Participate in monthly Continuous Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) meeting when requested
  • Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs on aircraft systems including, but not limited to pressurization, air conditioning, and engine components at on-site and off-site locations
  • When required complete and close-out all appropriate documentation prior to final release of aircraft
  • Perform complete engine runs on aircraft as applicable
  • Provide time estimates as required by Maintenance Control and Maintenance Planning
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Control to determine final decision concerning different approaches to repair and release of aircraft
  • Coordinate receiving and shipping of aircraft components and materials when working remotely
  • Obtain and maintain Hazardous Materials shipping certification
  • Develop and maintain aircraft Flyaway kit for international support
  • Obtain personal common hand tools and identify company supplied special tools as necessary to support remote operations
  • Identify any additional Technical Publications requirements to support installed equipment and initiate Technical Publication Change Requests as necessary to ensure accurate Technical Data
  • Initiate Minimum Equipment Lists and Non-Essential Furnishings changes as necessary to support the operation
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Control, Maintenance Planning and QA to address work scope compliance
  • Prepare production reports and others as required
  • Review, verify and approve vendors or suppliers invoices for services rendered and receipt of supplies  required by flight and maintenance department

Cabin Server Responsibilities:

  • Perform cabin server functions as required such as greet guests, arranging catering, serving owners, customers and guests
  • Ensure aircraft is stocked, clean, and prepared for flight
  • Prepare passengers and aircraft for landing, following procedures
  • Maintain the appropriate amount of aircraft stock and supplies
  • Ability to think outside the box to solve issues that arise
  • Basic culinary and plating knowledge
  • Willing and able to shop Internationally to put together catering for Owners
  • Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 5 years of experience in FAR Part 135 operations; 2-4 years of customer service experience, preferable in high end service environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A & P Certificate is required
  • G450, G500, G650 maintenance experience
  • Possess thorough knowledge of aircraft systems and manuals with the ability to read and interpret aircraft blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and manuals
  • Engine Run Certification is preferred
  • Ability to perform DI/RII Functions desired
  • Working knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations for assigned aircraft
  • Previous FACTS Training or equivalent is preferred
  • Applicants must possess the legal right to work in the United States and have the ability to travel in and out of the US and to all cities/countries where Flexjet serves.
  • Previous corporate aviation experience is preferred, but not necessary

  • Candidate should work well in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to the changing needs of the business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills *Multilingual language skills a bonus*
  • Computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, A/C maintenance, email, and web-based applications
  • Manages and adapts to change with a professional and positive attitude
  • Understands customer needs and exceeding customer expectations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
