Job Purpose:
The Inventory Planner will report to the Aviation Stores Manager.  The primary scope of the Inventory Planner is to maintain accurate physical inventory cycle counts and insure their accuracy.  The Inventory Planner reconciles Inventory Levels in the computer based tracking system (Actual vs. Indicated) and identifies and develops saving opportunities and processes through statistical analysis and coordination with appropriate departments.
 
Job Qualifications:
Required:
  • US Citizen or have the legal right to accept employment in the United States
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Inventory Control, and/or Materials related or the equivalent level of experience in a related role such as Aircraft Maintenance or Quality
  • Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated proficiency in Excel

Preferred:

  • Associate's Degree
  • Experience in Accounting, Finance, A/P and A/R functions
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift, carry and move light to medium weight of 10 - 30 pounds as well as good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of Inventory Control and Materials management processes
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills.  Self-motivated and can work independently while still keeping a team perspective
  • Must be flexible with respect to work schedule and willing to assist and support others within the company when needed
  • Ability to prioritize competing issues and coordinate resolutions with associated departments
Job Specifics:
  • Review Min / Max levels and determine appropriate inventory levels through analyzing past usage and forecasting future needs
  • Statically coordinate physical counts with stores personnel to ensure accuracy of inventory assets (cycle counts)
  • Reconciling Inventory Levels in the computer based tracking system (Actual vs. Indicated)
  • Monthly reporting-develop and administer saving opportunities and process development through statistical analysis and coordination with appropriate departments
  • Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:oopm; varying shifts and weekends on occasion
  • Other duties as assigned
