Description
  • Assist in the planning and scoping of IT audits and testing of  general IT controls in support of SOX 404 activities, development of audit programs, and completion of supporting working papers
  • Execute audit procedures in accordance with the approved audit program and departmental standards and audit methodology
  • Analyze test results to determine if control objectives and risks are adequately met
  • Identify root causes of findings and provide value-added recommendations to business process owners to effectively address issues and draft internal audit reports
  • Review working papers to ensure compliance with departmental standards and audit methodology
  • Meet budgets for the assigned areas audited
  • Lead, develop, mentor team members
  • Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university
    • Professional Certification: CISA, CIA or CPA preferred
    • 1-3 years of  IT audit or relevant experience in the following areas: : IT internal/external audit, IT risk assessment, IT security (MS-Windows, Oracle, PeopleSoft), SOX 404 general IT controls testing, project management, SDLC/pre-implementation reviews, IT outsourcing or off shoring, and IT strategy
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including process and testing documentation (i.e. flowcharts).  Must also possess strong interpersonal communication skills
    • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
    • Able to work in a team environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • <Ability to travel as needed
