Description: Chipton Ross is seeking a Business Analyst for a contract assignment in El Segundo.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Category: IT Planning & Analysis Staff Ill or IV equivalent Job Description

Seeking an experienced business analyst to coordinate with business process stakeholders and our software development team to successfully build and automate business processes. There are several dozen internal processes currently handled by simple forms. The intent is to review, improve, and automate these processes. This engagement will coordinate tightly with 2 software developer contractors, 1project manager, and various process owners. The development team will be following a strict agile approach to software development. The focus of this position is to analyze the business processes, determine ongoing requirements, work

with the development to address those requirements, and engage with the stakeholders to evolve the requirements and to ensure the solutions meet them.

Contract will run until 9/30/17 with possibility of extension.

o Coordinate with in-house web application developers,QA specialists, project managers, product owners,stakeholders, application administrators, and management to lead efforts to digitize existing paper forms and re-engineer business processes.

o Work with project manager, management, and stakeholders to define and document corporate business requirements and processes.

o Conduct business and technical reviews to validate findings.

o ead technical analyses of alternatives to identify and document solutions to address the requirements.

o Identify and mitigate potential risks to the Aerospace IT service portfolio.

o Recommend effective processes and procedures for tracking, analysis, and reporting through the service development lifecycle.

o Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team.

o Identify, anticipate, and remove impediments, technical roadblocks, and distractions.

o Facilitate discussion, decision making,and conflict resolution.

o Responsible for ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and providing excellent customer service throughout the process.

REQUIREMENTS:

o Bachelor's Degree

o Three or more years of business analysis experience

o Experience with project management

o Solid understandingof software development life cycle models

o Experience leading diverse personalities, multiple teams,and initiatives

o Excellent analytical and organizational skills, strong attention to detail

o Energetic, proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable with multi-tasking in a rapidly changing working environment

o Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring,coaching, collaboration, and team building

o Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with business and technical individuals at all corporate levels

o Experience with business workflows and/or workflow engines

o Customer service orientation

Preferred Qualifications

o Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field

o Experience implementing web development projects using Agile methodologies

o Advanced experience with Scrum (backlog tracking,burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition)

o Understanding of relational database design and implementation

o Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree
