This position supports tasking at the KBRwyle Office in Lexington Park, MD. The candidate will provide IT/Systems Administrator duties for one contractor facility and two government-operated facilities on NAS Patuxent River. Candidate will be responsible for administering, configuring and maintaining servers, workstations, network equipment, VTC equipment, and tape backup devices. The candidate will also be responsible for implementing and supporting email, antivirus, backup, security application, and productivity software. The candidate will assist Information Assurance (IA) personnel in updating system and network documentation to include, but not limited to, antivirus and audit records, system maintenance records, and software and hardware approvals. The candidate will assist IA personnel to ensure gaining approval of all Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation including Authority to Operate (ATOs), and policies and procedures for implementation of information systems and network equipment within a secure environment. The candidate will also be expected to participate in strategic planning to support recommendations for future network configuration changes in response to changing customer technical/security requirements. The candidate will be required to coordinate with government customers to ensure information systems are operating in accordance with government policies and report security issues as necessary.

Education/Experience: This position requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least two (2) years of IT experience supporting DoD programs. Four (4) additional years of related IT experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree. A+ CE, Network+ CE, SSCP or CCNA-Security certification is required or must be obtained within six (6) months of employment. The preferred applicant will have Systems Administrator experience with focus on Windows Server 2008 and experience in the implementation, configuration, and administration of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, as well as other Windows roles and features. An MCSA in Server Infrastructure and routing/switching experience is highly desired. Experience with HAIPE encryptors (based on IPSEC), more specifically the General Dynamics KG-175D encryptor is desired. The preferred candidate will have experience with Linux/Unix system administration, Storage Array Networks, Script Logic products to manage Active Directory, video teleconference equipment (Polycom) and setup and maintenance of Internet Systems Security Scanners (IDS).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: This position requires someone who is a motivated self-starter with a high degree of problem solving, troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills. Periodic travel to remote sites is required. Excellent communication, both oral and written, knowledge required. The candidate must be able to work effectively in complex mission environments, and should be familiar with DOD 8500.01E and DOD 8570.01-M. An active TS clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 6 years is required. Knowledge of the JSIG and the Risk Managed Framework process is highly desired.
