Ensure all aircraft maintenance, inspections, the shelf life program and tool calibrations are accomplished in accordance with the Company’s General Procedures Manual. The Lead Inspector has Inspection override authority, however if a final decision cannot be made, the issue will be brought to the immediate attention of the Manager for resolution.
Ensure all quality control staff are properly trained and qualified at their specific location.
Ensure inspections are properly performed and documented on completed work before the aircraft is returned to service.
Ensure all applicable tools and test equipment are calibrated in accordance with the requirements of the Company’s General Procedures Manual.
Ensure all AMLs are audited by inspector prior to removing white documentation copy.
Ensure completed maintenance records are audited to meet the applicable FARs and Company. manuals and entered into the PMI computer system and completed maintenance work packets are forwarded to the Centralized Records Department.
Ensure all parts and materials received for use on Company aircraft are inspected in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Company’s General Procedures Manual.
Perform receiving inspections as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Ensure that the SDR/MRRs generated during overnight or non-routine maintenance are completed and forwarded to the CASS department.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Holds a Mechanic’s Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings and have held these ratings for at least three years.
Meet requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83.
Have at least one year of maintenance experience on different types of large aircraft with 10 or more passenger seats with an air carrier or certificated repair station, one year of which must have been as a maintenance inspector.
Have at least one year of experience in a supervisory capacity maintaining the same category and class of aircraft as the Company uses.
Must be able to work different shifts.
Position requires lifting, standing, bending for long periods of time.
Must be able to pass initial drug screen and random drug screens.
