About The Job

This job is a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division. This role works with a team of developers, business partners, and testers responsible for leveraging technology to conduct manual and automated testing to increase the quality in the product delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

* BS in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related technical discipline

* 8 years of hands-on experience testing

* 3 years of experience testing web services that interacts with a database

Preferred Qualifications

* Airline and Sabre experience

* Quality Assurance leadership experience

* 3+ years of hands-on experience using SOAPUI Pro, TOAD, HP ALM/UFT and SQL

* Advanced knowledge of foundational concepts of testing

* Experience using scripting languages such as JavaScript, python, groovy scripting, ruby etc. to automate backend system testing

* Experience working in an Agile team environment

* Ability to learn the business logic quickly to interpret requirements and prioritize defects

* Solid understanding of Java and Linux, as well as J2EE, SQL, and Oracle Database

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

* Ability to identify problems and implement solutions

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities to meet project needs

* Strong leadership skills with proven track record of successfully leading QA resources

* Ability to explain technical concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience, including non-technical groups

* Strong interpersonal skills

* Physical ability necessary to safely and successfully perform the essential functions of the position, with or without any legally required reasonably accommodations that do not pose an undue hardship
