Role Summary:
Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge. Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition you will :

* Responsible for the definition, documentation and control methods of raw materials manufacturing process to support safe and compliant day to day

* To provide technical leadership of a team of Manufacturing Engineers
* This will include:
* project leadership
* task allocation
* equipment uptime and performance
* reviews
* and acting as an advocate for continuous improvement (CI) based on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) data

* Identify and implement process improvement within CVD tow coating business, owning engineering change process that will deliver tangible business benefits for the delivery of budgeted yield and scrap costs reductions for Manufacturing process and products

* Co-ordinate all analytical / SPC data management

* Responsible for defining maintenance protocols of process equipment, and drive process PFMEAs and RCCA

* Acts as a coach and mentor the Engineers and Technicians

* Must have working knowledge of CVD process, vacuum and mechanical systems in chemical industry environment

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Process and Equipment (Including management (PSM) background; experience in manufacturing, engineering and / or process safety; working knowledge of CVD process, vacuum and mechanical systems in chemical industry environment)

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :

* This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment
