This position will support Frontier’s lease/agreement negotiating strategy through application of financial forecasting, strategic planning and financial model development/enhancement to improve profitability. This role is also required to model financial impacts of space and airport rate changes so that Frontier can make sound operational and business decisions to minimize cost associated with real estate leases.

  • Prepare analyses of airport rates and charges; prepare budget projections and cost distributions for leasehold space; seek opportunities for increased efficiencies
  • Assist Airport Planning Regional Managers in review of airport signatory and non-signatory leases/contracts to identify potential areas of lease improvements during negotiation periods
  • Design new and more effective forecasts and budgets; determine where cost cuts can be made
  • Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance
  • Ensure that the department’s financial activity is in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Monitor airport industry developments and channel information for review
  • Prepare competitive analyses and benchmarking
  • Assists with ad-hoc projects as assigned

     

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience or 5+ years of combination of graduate degree in quantitative discipline and relevant work experience
  • Strong experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Prior airline and/or corporate real estate experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Superior analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to use mathematical techniques to solve problems and analyze data
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel - other computer skills beneficial
  • Strong writing, verbal, interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills evidenced by the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees and representatives of other airlines and airport management
  • Highly ethical and trustworthy leader that will represent the Company to critical external audiences
  • Ability to travel on company supported initiatives up to 40% of the time.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
