Provides technical oversight for radar development, testing, and fielding/operational support. Provides expert analysis of systems requirements and operational concerns. Technical Liaison to operational units in the field to advice on the emplacement and operation of counterfire radars. Interfaces with systems architect and client stakeholders. Generates hardware requirements, based on the user’s needs and other constraints such as cost and schedule. Interfaces directly with a software architect or engineer(s), and with other Mechanical and Electrical Engineers. Performs cost-benefit analyses to determine the best methods or approaches for meeting the hardware requirements. Capable of system conceptualization, system level requirements definition and system test and evaluation. Must be familiar with probability, reliability, statistical analysis methods, sampling and test and evaluation techniques, data collection and applicable regulations and standards. Logistics knowledge required.

Bachelors Degree in Engineering and 4 years experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 12 years experience. Candidate must be eligible for a security clearance which requires US citizenship.
