Responsible for efficient performance of all assigned maintenance personnel.
Requirements
Essential Functions:
Direct and assign mechanics as necessary to accomplish all maintenance function in accordance with the Company's General Procedures Manual
Direct and assume responsibility for quality and quantity of all aircraft maintenance work assigned
Ensure on-the-job training is conducted and documented in accordance with the General Procedures Manual
Ensure proper completion of all Company forms for all work assigned, performed and for the correct disposition upon completion
Ensure maintenance personnel are only assigned duties for which they are specifically qualified. Take appropriate action to upgrade personnel's technical skills and qualifications where necessary
Supervisor all maintenance personnel to ensure efficiency in available manpower utilization
Maintain the work areas, buildings and materials, which are utilized for aircraft maintenance, in a safe, clean and operative condition
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Maintenance FMU/Line
Minimum Job Requirements:
Hold a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
Meet requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83
Have one year of experience in maintaining the same category and class of aircraft as used by the Company
2 yrs experience supervising a crew of 5 or more in a 121 carrier operation
Familiar with parameters & standards established specifically in Federal Aviation Regulations Parts 43, 65 & 91
Strong oral and written Communication skills
Familiar with computer data entry, and other Microsoft office programs
