Requirements
 

Essential Functions:

  • Direct and assign mechanics as necessary to accomplish all maintenance function in accordance with the Company's General Procedures Manual
  • Direct and assume responsibility for quality and quantity of all aircraft maintenance work assigned
  • Ensure on-the-job training is conducted and documented in accordance with the General Procedures Manual
  • Ensure proper completion of all Company forms for all work assigned, performed and for the correct disposition upon completion
  • Ensure maintenance personnel are only assigned duties for which they are specifically qualified. Take appropriate action to upgrade personnel's technical skills and qualifications where necessary
  • Supervisor all maintenance personnel to ensure efficiency in available manpower utilization
  • Maintain the work areas, buildings and materials, which are utilized for aircraft maintenance, in a safe, clean and operative condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Maintenance FMU/Line

Minimum Job Requirements:

 

  • Hold a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Meet requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83
  • Have one year of experience in maintaining the same category and class of aircraft as used by the Company
  • 2 yrs experience supervising a crew of 5 or more in a 121 carrier operation
  • Familiar with parameters & standards established specifically in Federal Aviation Regulations Parts 43, 65 & 91
  • Strong oral and written Communication skills
  • Familiar with computer data entry, and other Microsoft office programs
  • Capable of lifting 75lb objects
  • Able to work both day & night shifts
