Position Overview

Forecasts and plans and maintenance requirements for all fleets based on revenue schedule requirements, aircraft time controls and resource availability the schedule maintenance plan as needed. Serves as maintenance planning point of contact within SOC
and Schedule Planning.

Key Responsibilities

* Forecast, publish, revise and update planned line and heavy-maintenance schedule for all Hawaiian Airlines 717 and/or 767 aircraft; maintains oversight of the A330 fleet

* Prepare and conduct maintenance planning meetings with maintenance personnel and outside vendors; Coordinate with various vendors and internal departments in the planning of scheduled work; Analyze project progression and adjust as necessary

* Train new personnel in all requirements for the Maintenance Planner position
* Review databases of line and base maintenance capabilities and manpower availability to accurately plan and schedule work assignments

* Access and utilize maintenance manuals and IPC’s
* Reviews time standards in TRAX for accuracy and proposes changes as necessary

* Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

* Minimum High School diploma
* 3+ years aircraft maintenance or related planning experience
* Knowledge of aircraft systems and ATA codes
* Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite
* Must have excellent written/oral communication skills
* Must possess analytical skills with the ability to multi-task, work well with others with little guidance, make independent decisions and to effectively coordinate with internal and external personnel

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree preferred
* A&P license
* Knowledge of the A330, 767 and 717 aircraft systems
* Proficient in using Trax, Sceptre and Sabre
* Experience managing projects
