Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking a Maintenance, Spec for an opening in Valencia, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client designs, engineers, manufactures, repairs and overhauls a broad portfolio of aviation and industrial components, accessories, subassemblies, systems and aircraft structures. We partner with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and operators of commercial, regional, business and military aircraft worldwide, to provide products and services that solve their hardest problems. So whatever the part, component or complexity of assembly, Client is committed to quality, service and meeting the specialized needs of each customer.

Client participates at all levels of the aerospace supply chain - from single components, to complex systems, to aerospace structures and their contents. We provide solutions for the entire product life cycle of an aircraft - from raw material to aftermarket service. Our unique ability to integrate a broad range of products and capabilities is our competitive advantage.

The right candidate will performs work in more than one of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Individual will makes routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment. Interprets blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications. Sets up and operates all tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work.

Individual will be responsible for maintenance and repair of precision CNC and conventional equipment. Strong electrical/mechanical background with experience with multiple controls such as Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Yaskawa, and Fadal a plus. Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, as well as be proficient with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Clean and disassemble the equipment to evaluate and make proper visual inspection and diagnostic of mechanical components. Repair of pumps, motors, gear boxes conveyors, spindles, and tool changers. Knowledge of methods, procedures, tools and equipment used in plumbing, and electrical trades related to facilities including compressed air systems. Communicate productively in both oral and written form. Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of management and those contacted in the performance of require duties. Support the maintenance team activities like 5S housekeeping, continuous improvement and Kaizen. Follow company rules and safety guidelines.

EDUCATION:

AA degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or minimum four years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in related fields.
