The Manager, Co-brand Portfolio Growth and Marketing position manages multiple functions of Delta's multi-billion dollar partnership with American Express. Specific responsibilities include:
Partnering with American Express and Delta Marketing to create, plan, and develop various marketing strategies, promotions and product designs aimed at increasing spend and retention of existing customers.
Managing various parts of the business, including but not limited to: marketing, strategy, analytics, budgeting, technology, customer service, and partner relationship management.
Ongoing review of the customer experience to create actionable recommendations on how to deliver more value to existing customers.
Partnering with counterparts at American Express on a day-to-day basis to manage the business needs and develop positive relationships.
Leading a team of two individual contributors responsible for product positioning, customer engagement, lifecycle marketing, marketing campaigns, and customer servicing.
Responsibility for planning, preparing and delivering presentations for senior leaders both inside and outside of Delta.
Position requires some domestic travel, typically no more than 1-2 times a quarter.
Bachelor's degree required, with major in Business, Marketing, Finance or Economics, plus minimum 5 years of airline and/or customer marketing experience; or MBA plus minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Strong airline or banking experience, marketing acumen, data analysis, and communication skills required. Experience in loyalty programs and partnerships a plus.
Proven ability to think strategically and develop and execute on a vision for continued growth of the business.
Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently as well as work well in a team environment with a high degree of autonomy and excel under pressure.
Must display a basic knowledge of all facets of Delta Air Lines, the airline industry, and the credit card industry.
Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
