  • Provide management and leadership for the DevOps team responsible for the support of Hawaiian Airlines Web, Mobile, and Kiosk Applications, across multiple development, test, and production environments and platforms.
  • Apply exceptional customer service principles to the communication and resolution of incidents and problems.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support guidance for high-priority production issues.
  • Provide management and leadership to onshore and offshore teams.
  • Review and improve the current DevOps processes with industry best practices and technologies, including the analysis and maintenance of existing monitors and alerts.
  • Define, measure, communicate, and incrementally improve time-to-notify and time-to-mitigate production support metrics.
  • Analyze production traffic patterns and take appropriate actions to protect properties from malicious activity.
  • Coach and mentor team members to grow their knowledge and skills.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, relevant certifications, and professional training programs.
  • 8+ years of professional experience, with at least five years of relevant industry / technical experience.
  • 6+ years experience managing Windows servers
  • 2+ years experience managing Linux servers
  • 2+ years experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server or Team Foundation Services
  • 4+ years experience managing full-time employees
  • Excellent client/user interaction skills to determine issues and requirements.
  • Completed at least 3 full product releases cycles.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and written skills.

Preferred Requirements

  • Proven track record of managing both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Experience with NewRelic or TeaLeaf monitoring and alerting suites.
  • Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Rackspace preferred.
