This position will directly support senior management with month-end variance analysis, forecasting, annual business planning, capital investment, ad hoc financial and operational analysis and special projects as assigned, and also manage and develop analytical staff.

Essential Functions:

* Manage the capital and strategic planning process and models

* Manage cost/benefit analysis on proposed projects and capital investments

* Lead monthly forecast development and variance analysis

* Lead annual operating plan

* Manage balance sheet and cash flow forecasting

* Supervise financial analysis of current operations to identify emerging risks and opportunities and communicate to senior management

* Design/Develop and build models and reports to monitor financial performance

* Develop and maintain route costing and other strategic models

* Analyze the impact of prospective route and schedule changes

* Supervise production of flight profitability and lines of business reporting

* Manage ad hoc operational and financial analysis and special projects

* Identify and drive implementation of improvements to business processes and procedures

* Develop analytical staff

* Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Relationships:

* Reports to: Director of Financial Planning & Analysis

* Supervises: Up to 4 analysts/senior analysts

* Works closely with: Executive Leadership Team

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or analytical field, MBA preferred

* Seven or more years of airline experience in an analytical role

* Five or more years as a manager of analytical staff

* Accounting experience a plus

* Excellent analytical skills

* Strong oral & written communication skills

* Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), and QlikView

* Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with all levels of senior management

* Proven staff development

* Qualified candidates must pass a criminal history background check
