- Manage a union group of employees that work 24/7
- Responsible for day to day operational needs of the team
- Maintain a high level of understanding the flight attendant and Clerical, Office and Passenger Service (COPS) union contracts to assure compliance of all contractual work rules 
- Oversight of Inflight flight leadership/management flying
- Ensure flight attendant crews are assigned legally to sequences, training and other duties in accordance with Federal Air Regulations, the Flight Attendant Agreement and company policy.
- Support crew planning team in the creation of effective and efficient monthly crew schedules, maintaining Federal Air Regulations, contract requirements and company policies.
- Advance a strong, cooperative working relationship with the flight attendant and FAA union leadership 
- Interpret and administer labor agreements
- Responsible for addressing performance and attendance issues
- Train employees on company policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service
- Provide analytical support to director
- Other duties as assigned
- Must embody the Alaska spirit with professionalism, integrity, resourcefulness and caring

- Bachelor's degree preferred 
- 4 years of airline experience in one of the following areas required: crew scheduling, station operations, and/or labor required.
- 3 years of experience leading teams required
- Experience coaching and counseling employees on performance related issues required
- Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements/analysis required
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures required
- Knowledge of discipline/discharge issues, personnel files, investigations and FAA regulations preferred
- Proven leadership skills working effectively and cooperatively with a wide variety of personality types and various levels of computer skills required
- Proven ability to tactfully communicate with others and establish relationships with employees and union representatives required
- Able to lead, motivate, and successfully communicate with a diverse workgroup and other internal departments required
- Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays and various shifts 
- Ability to work independently with strong self-motivation skills required
- Ability to attend Flight Attendant training and remain crew qualified required
- High school diploma or equivalent required  
- Minimum age of 21
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
