This leader is the primary focal point of the Inflight Training Department. The Inflight Training Manager reports directly to the Director Inflight Services. The Inflight Training Manager must be a motivated person dedicated to serving others. The successful candidate will be an individual who is willing to go above and beyond on behalf of the company and co-workers. A professional appearance and demeanor is a must at all time. This position requires a person with Flight Attendant experience who has familiarization and knowledge regarding the safety and cabin service requirements of the EMB 145. Knowledgeable of all pertinent sections of the company General Operations Manual, Flight Attendant Manual, company FAA-approved Training Manual and any other items which will provide a quality training presentation.
Qualifications, Training, Experience and Expertise:
Ability to maintain qualification of Flight Attendant
Two years college or equivalent business experience preferred. Must possess excellent communication skills. A background in teaching/classroom instruction is helpful.
Duties include the oversight of all Flight Attendant personnel undergoing initial and recurrent training in accordance with the FAA-approved training program and Trans States Airlines policies and procedures.
Comprehensive working knowledge of Company policy/procedures and CFRs.
Supervisory/Management experience preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Netline, IOCC Workspace, Excel, Power Point is required.
Responsibilities Included but not limited to:
Overall monitoring/supervision of Inflight Training Program.
Day to day supervision of Inflight Instructors.
Administrative responsibilities to maintain compliance/quality of the Inflight Training Program
Other duties as delegated by Director of Inflight Services.
