What does a Market Manager, Leisure Products do for Allegiant?

Market Manager, Leisure Products builds and maintains relationships with hotels and attraction operators within their assigned market (Las Vegas, Florida, or other). This requires that the Manager, Leisure Products maintains an ongoing awareness of the leisure
products available to travelers in the market and determines the optimal mix to make available for purchase through Allegiant.

Once the appropriate leisure products are identified, the Manager, Leisure Products should invest in the development of local relationships and negotiate an agreement for access to the hotel and attraction products, at the best available economics. This
role will also oversee a team of Specialists and/or Coordinators to ensure proper execution of the agreements.

What are some of the daily duties of a Market Manager, Leisure Products?

* Identify appropriate mix of leisure products in assigned market, including hotels, attractions, shows, etc.

* Build / maintain relationships with hotel and attraction operators in assigned market (currently: Las Vegas, Florida, or other.)

* Negotiate agreements for access to product inventory at best-available economics.

* Work with product partners to identify “promotional” opportunities.
* Work with Specialist, Leisure Products to ensure all negotiated agreements / rates are properly loaded into system for sale.

* Work with Coordinator, Leisure Products to ensure all sold products are properly fulfilled through product partners.

What are the minimum requirements to be a Market Manager, Leisure Products?

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
* Preferred experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in leisure travel products.

What other skills, knowledge, and qualifications are needed to be a Market Manager, Leisure Products?

* Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, internal and external customers.

* Team player who supports and promotes his/her team, demonstrating a strong work ethic, management skills, while maintaining a positive attitude.

* Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays.

* Experience working in a team-orientated collaborative environment.
* Strategic, operational, and technical marketing and management skills.
* Must be proficient in the use of computers and the associated programs utilized (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and reservations software).

* Must have basic math, vocabulary, and reading skills.

* Possesses refined analytical skills in spotting trends and identifying anomalies, as well as effectively and efficiently solving problems.

* Excellent management skills in task prioritization, upstream and downstream communication.

* Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986.

* Must be able to work in fast paced and potentially high stress environment.
* Possible travel may be required.
